Beauty pageant makeup?

how do girls in beauty pageants get their makeup so fake you cant tell who they are? im not tryin to be mean but is it their makeup or the type of picture it is? how do i get my makeup like that????????Beauty pageant makeup?

Well this is how they get it, there mother have these really exspenive tools like airbrushes and that have thick makeup in them they just spray it on the faces. they also get really bright colors. They just wear alot and alot of makeup and fake teeth. It's usually an amount of protethics so they don't look real, mor on the hands of barbie dolls

My guess is it's a pancake type of makeup, maybe Max Factor or Ben Nye. Both are theatrical makeup, and it wouldn't surprise me if that's what's used.

dont say that. i got entered in a pageant, and the makeup's not that bad. and for your question, i never noticed their makeup fakeness.
It really depends...some times the make up base is air brushed on. Sometimes it is just the picture. The pics you see in a high glitz pageant where it looks like the girls have barbie doll eyes is all photo re-touching. Most of the girls also wear fake eyelashes as well. To get you make up like this you will probably have to hire a professional. To get something similiar without a lot of the fakeness, find a pic with the make up you like and practice copying it. My mom and I did that and now do our own make up for pageants.
