If beauty is deep in, then why do people put makeup?

appearance really does matter. You don't have to look like a supermodel, but as long as you take care of yourself, and try to look good, then you look much more attractive as well as showing that you care about yourself. If beauty is deep in, then why do people put makeup?
inner beauty isn't recognized right off....hence makeup is the attraction to bring the interest to find that inner beauty. If beauty is deep in, then why do people put makeup?
I'm one of those few guys who actually prefer women to not wear any makeup. Sure, it can look nice sometimes, but I want to see what I'm getting.

The more make-up a woman wears, the less I trust her.

More women need to be confident about their looks.

The arguments about looking professional are garbage. If you have to wear make up to be taken seriously, you're doing yourself a disservice.

It can be fun once in awhile, but it should never be a way of life.
Makeup accentuates what is already there, as well as hides things we don't want others to see - like pimples, blackheads, moles, or marks. It is also good for taking pictures in which regular features tend to appear bland. Many women feel that it makes them appear more beautiful and thus increases their confidence and self-esteem. If your job is particularly 'glamorous,' then it just comes along with the territory.
First impression makes a lasting impression. When you meet someone, they get attracted to your outer personality first. It's only when the 1st step of liking is there, do they take the second step of knowing you , your inner personality. Applied with a light hand, make-up enhances your already present beauty.
Because it is the first thing that people notice...and they say that first impressions last.
I think it boosts self confidence in people. Makeup can make a difference, but it should be all that matters. Beauty IS on the inside. Makeup makes beauty on the outside.

Theres a joke.... ';Why do girls wear makeup and perfume';

Cause they're ugly and they smell bad!
people put on make up because they are afraid of what they really look like... its like a way to cover up who they really are in a sence... or they just think they are ugly on the outside and thats just sad
because we dont see the Deep Side straight away, we see the face first
To accentuate their features. And yes beauty is deep in but only after you get to know the person. No matter what people say, appearance still plays a role if you want to get noticed.
To make us feel good about ourselves. You feel better about yourself when you feel that you look good. You're more confident.
Cuz ugly goes right to the bone!
Makeup can be fun. It allows us to be creative with our faces, a lot of people in my family are makeup artists, and makeup is definetly an art form. Some people take it a little too far, I mean we should never forget that beauty comes from within, but theres nothing wrong with having a little fun, right?
There are outside beauty and inner beauty, these are two complete different things! If you have both it is good, but outside beauty is more visible and more prominent than inner beauty...outside beauty is more important coz bad can change to become good, whereas if you are ugly, it is difficult to become beautiful.
People put makeup maybe because their job requires them to have a professional image. E.g. Beauty consultant, a person who does presentations for a company...

Others apply makeup to conceal any imperfections like dark eye circles or to freshen and brighten the face.
Coz beauty within is for the one you love but for other it the outer beauty and for some it make them feel good........... that why they make-up
Just 2 make oneself feel good
Everybody wants to look nice on the outside too, not just sweet on the inside. Goody two shoes, tom-girls and other people who you wouldn't think would wear makeup use it. Girls also want to show that they aren't masculine so they use feminine objects to set them selves apaprt from the men. If it wasn't for makeup there would be no girls.

Everything that lies deep cannot be seen know, so to show out something u have to expose with something.......same u do in case of make up..........enough?
